FRee Flight's Birds Can Visit Your Classroom or Special Event

Free Flight believes there is a strong emotional, intellectual and spiritual connection between humans and wildlife. Free Flight's birds are true teachers of this relationship.

Invite us to visit your location or arrange a time to tour Free Flight.

Pam Wright showing off one of the resident birdsClassroom Visits - Be creative! A visit from Free Flight's birds can be the perfect inspiration for an art, reading (we can suggest titles) or writing class. Visits are available October thru May and can be tied to your curriculum area such as raptors, owls, adaptations or eyesight. NEW for fall 2009: Build a Raptor! This is an entertaining and interactive activity geared towards grades 4 & 5.

Civic Programs - All of Free Flight's birds are native to the beautiful Oregon Coast. It is fascinating to learn how each species fills its specialized niche, how they interact with other wildlife on the Oregon Islands and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuges and and how we can affect their futures.

Visit us at Free Flight - Free Flight invites you to tour our facility at Coquille Point [see panorama} overlooking the dramatic cliffs of the Oregon coast. We welcome classes and groups for onsite programs where you can learn more about the care of rehab birds as well as more casual tours for families and small groups.

State Park Programs - Come visit us at an Oregon State Park! Free Flight provides summer evening programs at Sunset Bay State Park on the Cape Arago Highway, Humbug Mountain State Park south of Port Orford, Harris State Park in Brookings and daytime and evening programs at Bullard’s State Park just north of Bandon.
